About
One Owner. One Machine Operator. Same Guy.
I'm Mason Miller. I own Triple M Excavation, based in Smithville and working across the KC Northland. I run it the honest way: I walk your property with you, put the price in writing, and explain every line before anything gets scheduled.

About Mason Miller
Triple M Excavation has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. From the age of 4, I grew up around equipment on the farm, spending my time learning and playing on tractors and skid loaders.
That passion led me to pursue a degree in Heavy Equipment Operations. After graduating, I continued working in the heavy equipment industry, gaining years of hands-on experience and building the skills needed to turn my lifelong dream of owning my own business into a reality.
Today, I'm proud to bring my experience and passion to Triple M Excavation. I built this business on hard work, quality service, and doing the job right. I look forward to serving the Smithville and surrounding communities and helping bring your next project to life.
What Makes Us Different
At Triple M Excavation, we believe in doing more than just getting the job done — we believe in doing it right. With years of hands-on experience in the heavy equipment industry, I bring knowledge, attention to detail, and pride to every project.
As a locally owned business, I care about the work I do and the people I work with. I treat every project as if it were my own, focusing on quality workmanship, honest communication, and dependable service from start to finish.
Personalized Estimates: Every project site is personally walked with Mason. During the walkthrough, we'll discuss your project, what needs to be done, and any factors that may affect the cost. You'll receive a written bid that clearly breaks down the work and explains why the project costs what it does — no guessing and no surprises.
Why This Company Exists
I started Triple M in 2026 because I kept hearing the same story from people around here: they got a number from a contractor, nobody explained what was in it, and the final bill didn't match. By the time the surprise showed up, the trees were already down and they had no leverage left.
That's fixable. Not with slogans — with paperwork. Walk the property in person. Write every line down. Explain each one out loud. Lock the price. And if the ground turns up something the walk-through couldn't show, stop the machine and get written approval before the machine moves any further.
It's not a complicated idea. It just requires actually doing it, every job, even when it's slower.
Evenings and Weekends — On Purpose, and Honestly
Here's the straight version: Triple M is a one-person operation, and I run it evenings and weekends. I'm not going to dress that up as a fleet of crews, because it isn't one.
But it works out better for most homeowners than you'd think. You work during the day too. When a contractor can only meet at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday, you're burning vacation time to walk your own property. I do estimate walk-throughs after you're home from work or on a Saturday — which means you're actually there, pointing at what you want, when the price gets figured.
The trade-off is honest too: I'd rather promise you a real start date than a fast one. When we walk your property, I'll tell you exactly where you'd land on the schedule.
